Founded in 2013 and currently based out of NYC, Sparkle Motion creates a hypnotic atmosphere of dark and frenetic dance by drawing on the production styles of 80's minimalist synth music and the hallucinatory neon of a gay nightclub. The forthcoming album, Performance Principle, celebrates the radical potential of queer performativity against the vulgarity of heteronormative society.
